When my wife and I were on a search to find a new Maltese puppy we could not be more fortunate to find Michelle of 'Iclynn Maltese.' Not only was Michelle extremely knowledgeable about the breed but we could tell that she cared deeply for all of her Maltese's and wanted to take every extra step to make sure they ended up in a loving home.

When we went for our first visit, Michelle welcomed us into her beautiful home where we got to meet her husband (who also loved the puppies just as much) and spend ample time interacting and playing with the puppies before we made our final choice. She is truly passionate about what she does and that passion shined through in our entire process with her.

We recommend Michelle to anybody out there that is serious about finding a properly bred Maltese puppy.

After some research, I decided to go with Iclynn Maltese to get my Maltese puppy from. I wanted a healthy, happy, curious puppy that is affectionate and playful. Michelle from Iclynn Maltese is like family to us, like the long lost relative we never knew we had. She has given us the gift of a healthy Maltese puppy who is smart, affectionate, active, adventurous, and very devoted. Our lives have been transformed forever with the joy a puppy bring to a family. We are complete now.

Rocket (Rocky) is our first family puppy. He is an amazing companion for me (mama bear) and an endless ball of energy with my children who are 10, 13 and 14. Michelle was there for us every step of the way. Answering a million questions, sending us updated pictures, videos and writing us stories of the major milestones our puppy reached. After we brought him home Michelle guided us during our first few weeks and provides a fountain of information.

Michelle’s home is where the dogs live. The dogs are her own pets. The puppies stay in her home where it is always warm, clean, specious, safe, and fun. The dogs are well-fed and can stay with their mother until they are weaned. Puppies don’t go to their forever homes until they are 12-13 weeks and once the vet gives the green light. There is a large, safe, gated patio where the puppies can run around in fresh air and nap in the shade of the huge maple trees. For playtime, Michelle provides a jungle gym, parachute tunnel and balance board for them to explore, develop strong muscles and learn to navigate their surroundings. As a result of all these things combined, the puppies are healthy and well socialized. I really have the sense that they are like her children, very loved. Each one holding a special place in her heart.

I brought home my fur baby Jazz when he was 20 weeks old, which is a little older than the usual 12 weeks. But this was great for me! Michelle had Jazz already trained on pee pads, she taught him his name, and she had been grooming him since he was 5 weeks old. Because of her care and efforts, Jazz has no fear of the running water of the bath nor the sound of the hair dryer. He may not be a fan of baths, but he does not panic, and actually, he seems to enjoy the hair dryer. Additionally, there were less accidents in my home because Jazz knew to seek out a pee pad when he had to go.

Personality-wise, Jazz is very loving and gentle. He loves to meet new people, he loves to cuddle, and he has no fear to say hello to even the largest of dogs. His groomer said that he was the calmest puppy she had ever groomed. Of course, he also has his cheeky moments, and loves to play fetch or just run around a park.

I think it's thanks to Michelle that Jazz is so well-adjusted. She did a fantastic job socializing my puppy, and teaching him that there are rules in a home that he must follow. He's never had a problem with chewing furniture or destroying his toys.

When I visited Michelle's home I found it to be clean and spacious, and very full of cute fluffy Maltese dogs! They all competed to be the one to cuddle on my lap. When you first enter the home she instructs you to ignore the dogs until they are quiet, which is great training, as the puppies learn this behaviour from the adults in the home. Jazz and the other dogs were well-groomed and happy.

Michelle is very dedicated to her puppies, and made sure to check in with me after I took Jazz home to ask how he was settling in and if I had any questions. I appreciate her continued guidance for topics such as tear stains and how to make a top-knot.

I think I made the best choice of breeder with Michelle, and I plan to buy another puppy from her in the future. I highly recommend Michelle to any Maltese enthusiasts.
